While we have always looked for a relationship with Chimpanzees, Gorillas are not too far away from the human race.
In fact, we all belong to the same family.
They are very similar to us and this is the reason there are always so many visitors to Gorilla’s cage at the zoo.
We love watching Gorilla going around their day and laugh at and with them hilariously.
The Zoo Atlanta understands the same and so they decided to have a party for the gorillas.
It was a great occasion to a party because it was their baby gorilla Anaka’s birthday as she had turned 6 years old.
The staff said that the gorilla had great fun at the party.
They even shared pictures of Anaka she turned 6 on Facebook and that is when it came out.
When the zoo shared Anaka’s pictures, people could not help but notice something different about her.
The closeup shots of the baby girl showed pigmentation in her hands that made her hands look exactly like a human’s hands.
To this, the park said that Anaka’s skin has lesser pigmentation and this is not the only trait that makes her different.
The park said that she on several occasions barks at her mother for justice and fair decisions by her.
She even takes piggyback rides on the back of her siblings just like a human child would do.
While a user suggested that Anaka must have vitiligo, a long term skin disorder related to pigmentation, the same is not mandatory.
She has a little pigmentation misbalance ever since she was born but they do not think it is a disease stating that it has not changed or grown since she was born, thus they believe her hands to be a cool birthmark.
