A teenage graduate is revealing the details of her recent graduation celebrations which ended on a major low after the restaurant kicked her out due to her inappropriate outfit.
Sanai Butler mentioned how Lula Restaurant Distillery was removed from the eatery because her attire was just not acceptable as a graduation outfit. Now, however, conflicting reports regarding the incident are coming in as days go by.
17-year-old Sanai says that she was donning a bikini top which she paired with matching leggings too. The entire outfit was accompanied by her graduation stole with a matching cap, as she opted to dine at the Lula Restaurant on Tuesday in New Orleans.
Now, the restaurant is denying all the claims put forward by the teenager, saying that was not the real reason why cops were called into the eatery.
Instead, they spoke about another story that was the complete opposite to that of the teen’s confessions.
Sanai says that the restaurant owner’s wife approached her with police officers eventually calling her in because of her revealing bikini top, as mentioned by NOLA.com.
On Wednesday, the restaurant issued a press statement where they mentioned how officers were called in because an altercation had erupted between two groups present at the party. In addition, they say that the cops were not called in due to Sanai’s clothing, neither did they speak about anyone being forced to leave the eatery due to the inappropriate attire.
“The officers were called in after three adults stating going after one another with patrons seated on another table,” explained the statement released by the restaurant. The statement also mentioned how no one was asked to leave, neither was anyone escorted away from the property too.
But that statements are the complete opposite of those released by Sanai’s family. They claim that the young graduate was approached by the owner’s wife as she went towards the restroom. And that’s when she informed the 17-year-old to change into another attire as her bikini was too revealing.
