A 65-year-old grandmother from Florida beat a 300-pound man with a baseball bat after he tried to break into her car.
Grandmother Clarese Gainey grabbed her baseball bat after hearing a noise outside her Gainesville apartment.
She saw a man named Antonio Mosely, who is 5ft 6ins and weighs 300 pounds, trying to break into her car.
‘I grab my bat, I braced myself, and I eased the door open,’ Gainey – a former high school softball player, said.
The man charged at her and tried to knock her over. That’s when the 65-year-old grandmother beat him with the baseball bat.
‘I took that bat and hit him upside the head like ‘pi-yah!’ He said “Ow!”‘ Gainey told WGFL.
Mosley ran to a nearby mobile home park, leaving behind his pants, shirt, and a sock.
Soon, the police caught him. They also found cocaine in his pocket.

Police brought him back to Gainey to identify him who could easily identify him by the injury to his head as she had hit him there.point 210 | 1
‘He better be glad I didn’t have a gun. Because I would have shot him. But this is my gun right here,’ Gainey said.
Mosley has been charged with two counts of burglary and drug possession. He has been held by authorities in the Alachua County Jail.
