Tyson Schreiber was thrown from his truck when it drifted.
He was only 10 miles away from his home when it happened.
12 hours later, this young 19-year-old boy died from severe head trauma.
It had been exactly a year since her beloved son’s death, so Tyson’s mom and the whole family went to visit his grave. That’s when they noticed someone else – someone they’ve never seen before. She was writing something on the post they previously set up in front of his grave.
Half-curious and half-alarmed, the family walked over to the two strangers.
When asked what they were doing, they said something that made the whole family break down in tears.

She said that she received Tyson’s pancreas and kidney last year, and that she was driving with her husband to find Tyson’s grave. She said that he was the reason she was alive, and wanted to thank him.
Tyson’s mom, Julie, immediately hugged Laura. When Tyson first got his driver’s license, the first thing he did was to sign up to be an organ donor. And the result of this decision was right in front of her eyes.
“I know that Tyson would be so happy, looking down and saying, yeah, I did that,” said Julie in the interview with the Koin.

As a way to express her eternal gratitude to the person who literally saved her life, she wrote down the following message:point 171 | 1
