There is humanity in the world if we try to see it.
A Greek woman risked her own life to save a Jewish family from the Nazis during the war, and now she claims that she can die quietly after seeing the family reuniting again.
She had a very emotional reunion with the kids of the family.
Melpomeni Dina, who is 92 years old, wiped away her happy tears after seeing the family she saved in World War II in a memorial.
It was the first time after the war that she met the whole family again. She hid some members of the family, fed and also protected them from everything.
It has been more than 75 years to the horrifying incident that the family had to go through.
One by one, all the family members leaned down to hug the woman who saved their family and lives in World War II.
While meeting the family and hugging them, Melpomeni had tears in her eyes which rolled down her cheeks.
One of the survivors named Sarah Yanai said that it is a very emotional moment for the family, and it’s difficult to put it in words.
Sarah is 86 years old, and she is the oldest of all the other five siblings whom Dina sheltered.
Sarah further said that they were hiding in her house and feeding us even after the danger she knew she had on herself. It was kind of her to save our lives and protect us from the terrible time.
