After President Donald Trump told Global warming activist Greta Thunberg to ‘chill’ and ‘work on her anger management problems’, the teen trolled the President for his comment.
The 16-year-old has updated her Twitter bio which now reads: ‘A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.’
After Greta was named Time magazine’s ‘Person of The Year’, President Donald Trump reacted to the news of the publication choosing Thunberg for as the Person of the Year instead of him.
He tweeted: ‘So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!’
Twitter users came forward to support Thunberg after she mocked the President by changing her Twitter bio.
One user said: ‘A 16-year old with Asperger’s and non-native English speaker has better social and communications skills than the current President of the United States. And better Twitter game.’
Another user wrote: ‘Interesting how a leader that acts like a child is yelling at a child who acts like a leader’ while the third one added: ‘As a mom, educator and a human being with empathy, I am ashamed to see the current occupant of the office of the President of the US so glib and the absolute extreme embodiment of “online bullying”.’
Former Vice President Al Gore also praised the Time magazine for choosing Thunberg as the Person of the Year. He said: “Brilliant decision for @TIME to choose @GretaThunberg as its Person of the Year.”
“Greta embodies the moral authority of the youth activist movement demanding that we act immediately to solve the climate crisis. She is an inspiration to me and to people across the world.”
