1. Sandra Oh
Sandra started her career at just 10 years of age when she performed in a school musical performance called The Canada Goose.
Sandra went to study at the National Theater School in Montreal. She started her acting carrier in 1989 and appeared on Grey’s Anatomy in 2005 for the first time.
She worked for the series for nine years, winning a number of awards for herself. Currently, she is working in the famous Killing Eve series.
2. Katherine Heigl
American model and actress Heigl was just nine when she started acting. She performed in television series That Night in 1992.
Heigl had performed in a number of series and movies before starring in Grey’s Anatomy in 2005. She played the role of Dr. Izzie Stevens until 2010.
She has also played Samantha Wheeler in Suits.
3. Patrick Dempsey
This American star started professional acting in the 80’s but his major success was the role of Dr. Derek Shepherd in Grey’s Anatomy.
Patrick starred in Grey’s Anatomy until 2015. After that, he went to pursue his passion for car racing. He is a semi-professional pilot now and takes part in major automotive events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
4. Isaiah Washington
Before he started studying acting at Howard University, Isaiah used to be in the Air Force.
He acted in many notable movies and series before joining Grey’s Anatomy in 2005. But he was fired from the position because of alleged homophobia.
This case prevented him from being a part of the series for some time before he got a roll in the fifth season.
5. Sarah Drew
Sarah started her acting career at an age of 17 when she doubled the character of Stacy Rowe in animated series Daria. She got wide fame for her role as Dr. April Kepner in Grey’s Anatomy.
Sarah performed in Grey’s Anatomy for more than 10 years before leaving at the end of the 14th season. Recently she has worked for The Republic of Sarah and Cagney & Lacey.
6. Jeffrey Dean Morgan
The veteran actor has many successes under his belt. He has been in the field of acting for 30 years.
He has worked for Supernatural, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Star Trek and others. He is now playing the villain Negan in The Walking Dead Series.
7. Eric Dane
Eric Dane, who is widely known for his big roles in X-men: The Last Stand and Marley and Me, first got fame from his role as Dr. Mark Sloan in Grey’s Anatomy.
He performed the role from 2006 to 2012. Currently, he is performing the role of Cal Jacobs in HBO’s Euphoria series.
8. Chyler Leigh
The actress debuted as Cindy in Kickboxing Academy in 1997.
The next big performance she did was the role of Dr. Lexie Gray which she continued until 2015 when the character was killed.
Leigh has also played Alex Danvers in the Supergirl series.
9. Loretta Devine
Loretta played the character of Adele Webber in Grey’s Anatomy until 2013 when the character died in season 9.

10. T. R. Knight
Knight got major fame from the role of Dr. George O’Malley, that he performed for Grey’s Anatomy.

He last appeared on The Catch, When We Rise, and Genius.
11. Sara Ramírez
Getting fame from her 10 years’ role of orthopedist Callie Torres in Grey’s Anatomy, Sara had previously starred in notable works like Law and Order: SVU, Spider-Man, and Third Watch.
Since 2017, she has been working in the Madam Secretary series.
Sara has received 7 awards for her acting, out of which 5 are for her role in Grey’s Anatomy.
