A small gesture of someone means a lot if it is filled with kindness and when someone goes beyond above to help then it tells a lot about a person’s character.
Frederick from Massachusetts works as a bagger at the Big Y World Class Market in Greenfield.
An elderly woman who was checking out, Frederick saw she didn’t have the money to pay for her entire order.
Another customer in line noticed, too. Big Y tweeted their story, explaining what a fine young man Frederick is, and how he kindly helped a woman in need.
“While I was checking out I noticed an elderly lady in the next lane who didn’t have enough money to pay for her order,” the anonymous customer told Big Y.

Anna from Torrington was praised for bringing a forgotten item that was left behind to a customer in the parking lot. “A can of soup was forgotten when the cashier was bagging and Anna came out into the parking lot and brought it to me,” a customer commented to Big Y. “Nice job!”
Loreta from Marlborough was recognized for her patience during a transaction with a customer. “Loreta was terrific helping me when I had not yet received my Silver Savings card,” the customer said.
