We have all seen the father-daughter dance at the weddings and it makes everyone present emotional for the reason that it is a symbol of the father giving away his daughter to her man.
But this does not mean it always only has to be the father-daughter emotion that counts. Most of the time, the mother of the groom and the groom share the same emotions too.
At this wedding, the groom decided to make a difference by displaying his feelings out for his mother. Luke Rheault, the groom, and his mother did a mother-son dance and left everyone present in the room in tears.

Luke and his mother Rebekah found out that she was suffering from ALS and ever since she has been weak. On his son’s wedding, Rebekah was sitting in her wheelchair, with a glimpse of tears in her eyes.
This is when Luke decided to walk in on her. He went to her and started planting kisses on her. This is when the music broke out.
The song “Heroes” came out and he could not resist. He took his mother on the dance floor, kept showering kisses on her and then grooved with her a little. He even went down on his knees for his mother.
Something like this can only be seen once in a blue moon and this was one such wedding.
The feelings of the groom and his parents are often neglected when they are also getting separated from their son who is all set to have a family of his own and from now on is only going to show up on some holidays, that too not all of them.
A wedding is a great occasion to celebrate life, love, and joy and it looks like Luke did it just right.
