A group of people was caught on camera throwing dead animals at a family home and a car parked in the driveway.
The sickening attack took place in Warwickshire, England, where a series of locals woke up to a terrifying scene involving dead animals including rabbits.
According to the neighborhood watch of the Bedworth and Nuneaton communities, the group has targeted a series of homes by throwing dead rabbits and pheasants at their houses and vehicles.
“We have been made aware of a significant amount of dead wildlife appearing overnight in the St Nicolas area,” the police confirmed following the attack on a series of homes.
“Animals such as rabbits, hares and pheasants have been found on several drives across a number of streets. They appear to have been placed rather than thrown or via natural occurrence. At this time it is not known how they died.”
As the authorities confirmed, the case is under investigation and the police are on the hunt for the vandals.
“If the animals are on your property, place them in a black bin liner, use gloves, and place them out of reach of other animals until the police get back to you,” the official statement urges the affected residents.
“If they are found on public land, report them to the council. Do not put them in your black bin.”
In one terrifying footage taken by a Ring camera, a group of at least four people is seen stopping by one of the homes in the area before throwing a series of animals at a car and the home.
The police urge anyone with information relevant to this case to reach out to Warwickshire Police and request to speak with the wildlife crime officer.
