29-year-old Jareth Nebula is one such agender individual who admitted feeling empty before finally transitioning to an alien.

As the alien from Edmonds, Washington, claimed, it and other individuals like it feel like they belong to or come from a different world.

As Jareth explained, it works as a receptionist at a barbershop besides taking on occasional modeling gigs when an opportunity pops up.

In addition, the self-proclaimed agender alien did its best to look more alien by removing its eyebrows, nipples, and tattooing stars all over the body.

At the age of 26, when Jareth was still a man, he was diagnosed with a condition that caused him to develop stretchy skin and over-flexible joints.

Feeling he wasn’t happy in his own body, Jareth started transitioning to a woman.

“I thought being a trans man would solve all of my issues and inner battles with finding out who I was, but I wasn’t as happy as I expected to be. I felt like I was trying to fit into someone else’s box,” then-she said.

“I didn’t want to be constrained – that’s when I discovered what agender was. I’d always been obsessed with aliens, too, and what it means to be extraterrestrial, so the idea of being an agender alien fit perfectly as an identity for me.”

Finally, ‘becoming’ an alien allowed Jareth to feel good in its own skin and live its life to the fullest.

“After coming out as transgender and believing I had finally found myself, I realized I was wrong – I wasn’t male or female, or even human. I don’t think or feel like humans,” it added.

“I can’t really explain it to others – I’m simply otherworldly. I didn’t feel comfortable as either gender or even anything in between. I know I’m stuck in a human form and that’s how I’m perceived by others – but to me, I’m an alien with no gender.”

As the alien claimed, people often shower him with hate comments because they lack empathy.

“I’m happy with who I am and will continue to become more alien-like every day,” Jareth added.
