It made us laugh; it gave us strength in the toughest times.
No matter what was going on our minds, it could fill our mind with joy in seconds.
But sadly, the joy giver is no more in the world. Yes, our beloved Grumpy cat has passed away after fighting a battle with death. It was a happy cat that made us laugh and its memories will stay in our heart just in the same box.
Grumpy cat died of a urinary tract infection that had recently attacked it. The infection had lost its shape and had become worse.
The doctors told Grumpy’s family that the infection is impossible to take out. Although it was just 7 years old it died like a happy cat in its home in the arms of its mother Tabatha.
The family came to twitter to announce the massive loss they just faced. The family wrote “We lost Grumpy on 14th of May and this is the hardest time we have to be in.
We as Grumpy’s family are not able to overcome the loss we have just faced. We tried everything to save Grumpy but nothing could work.
Grumpy had touched millions of lives and made us all laugh even in the toughest times. We are a proud family to call Grumpy ours. Its soul will be here and its spirit will keep making people laugh.”
Well, Grumpy shot to fame back in 2012 when its owner posted a photo of the different looking cat on Reddit. After that, there was no stopping. Its social media had more than 2 million followers who had loved and praised the little cat in several ways.
Its death is definitely a loss to the world but as they say, some days are grumpier than others. We wish that cat to be in peace and the world to carry on laughing to celebrate its spirit.
