A guy named Aaron has made a dating app with the help of his software engineer friend Scott McDowell where he has no competition.
Aaron has created an app called Singularity where no matter how many times you swipe, you will only see one man with different looks and that man is Aaron himself.
Aaron told WFMY: “The biggest problem with the other apps is that my face is not featured prominently.”
“If life gives you lemons, you should first make lemonade.
Then make sure no other companies can produce or distribute their own soft drinks. So the only game in town is lemonade.
”Aaron even made a commercial to promote his app. His friend Scott McDowell, who helped Aaron created the app, said: “All of us who have done online dating in some sorta way can all relate to the fact that it really does sometimes suck.”
Aaron told Metro.
co.
uk: “I came up with the idea after a series of lousy dates over Tinder/Bumble/Hinge. I wanted to shoot a comedy sketch about a dating app where women could only match with me, which is a ridiculous premise but I needed a visual component in order to do it.”
Aaron says the app is just a joke and he is still single but if he ends up meeting someone special through the app, he won’t turn it down.
He said: “I’ve been talking to a few women from all over the world.
I get tons of Facebook friend requests every day.
I got a really sweet email from someone in Oregon and we’re talking a bit (which I’m excited about) but I’m taking things one day at a time. ”If you love this app and want to meet the creator of the app, you can download the Singularity app.
