A man shared how he rescued a dog from a neglectful owner who didn’t even bother to look after the poor pooch.
The anonymous guy posted the picture of the dog he stole from somewhere writing, ”I live somewhere in the Caribbean and lot of homes only have chain link fences so you can see into most yards, This day I was driving down the road at stopped at a corner and when I looked to my left I saw sunny on her 5 foot lead in the dirt curled up into a ball :( my heart sank and I knew I had to get that pupper pout of there.”
He came out of his truck and started calling out to know if anyone was there but didn’t get any response. The guy realized that no one was at home, a passer-by stopped and he was also stunned to see the condition of the poor dog.
He continued: ‘’So I got out my truck and began to call out to her and she looked and wagged her tail and that was it … I begin to call out around the house to see if anyone would come out but after a while, I realized no one was home. I went back over to my pickup and was looking in when a Rastaman that was walking down the road saw what I was looking at and said ” no Jah! that animal looks terrible” and I said yeh!’’
The guy told the stranger that he wants to take this dog home and the latter suggested him to jump and take it with him.point 216 |
He said: ‘’I want to take it home and he literally looked at me and said ” the only thing stopping you is a fence my breddah! you must jump it and hand over the dog to me !” so I jumped over and grabbed her and handed her over to the rasta and jumped back over and with a big up and tap on the shoulder, me and the rasta said our goodbyes.point 282 |

Finally, the dog was rescued from the place where no one was interested in taking care of him. The guy named him Sunny and asked people to adopt dogs rather than buying breeders from shops. He received a great response on his post and social media users praised him for the same.
He added: ‘’I drive past this house a lot on my travels but i just keep moving as i know i have what is really important … and that is sunny :) Adopt and please don’t shop ! do not support breeders.’’
