Amarildo Silva collects old tires from the landfill or streets and transforms them into comfortable beds for pets.

The 24-year-old artist from Brazil makes not only eco-friendly but also cute animal beds. Now, he has more than 16,000 followers on Instagram and the demand for his adorable creation is high.

When Silva realized discarded tires were littering the city, he tried to solve the problem by collecting them whenever he has time. Then, he makes cozy beds with his creative skills.

According to his Instagram page, Silva started his business called ‘Caominhas Pets Official’ to sell his transformed animal beds. He first collects tires from streets and landfills, thoroughly cleans them before painting them with different designs.

He also adds homemade pillow and cushion to make sure cats, dogs or any other animals will feel comfortable using the bed.

Aside from beds, Silva also makes beautiful containers for plants.

The young artist managed to combine two things that he always loved to do: crafts and helping animals. He believes that his project can somehow contribute to a more sustainable world and will offer more innovative ideas to generate a socio-environmental impact.
