Gwen Stefani celebrated her 50th birthday and her boyfriend Blake Shelton, 43, was the first one to wish her.
Blake took to Twitter to wish his girlfriend and wrote: ”Happy Birthday @gwenstefani!!!! I love you so much it’s actually stupid… And possibly illegal in the state of California.”
The two fell in the love on the sets of The Voice and started dating after taking a little time to understand each other. In 2014, they began working together on the competition show and made their relationship public after seven months.
At that time, Blake was had parted his ways from wife Miranda Lambert and Gwen had a divorce with Gavin Rossdale.
The couple is very happy together and Blake helped Gwen in raising her three kids she had with Gavin: Kingston, 13, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, five.
”It’s actually shocking that it has already been that long,” Shelton admitted to People in June.
”It’s kind of a blur. It still feels like it’s pretty new to me. I guess it is, relatively. Four years isn’t forever, but man, it seems like it just happened in no time.”
In September, Stefani told the Today show about Blake that ‘He is a good dad, actually.’
”He’s been helping me out a lot, so I literally get to the point where I’m like, “You gotta get home, I need help.” It’s hard. I got three boys.”
”I just never thought in my wildest dreams, on paper, a cowboy and a ska-like girl from Anaheim would be hanging out, but it works perfect and we’re just having so much fun,” she said.
”And we just feel so blessed to be at this point in our lives.”
In June, she spoke to GMA saying: ”He’s my homeboy. He’s my homey. He’s just really an amazing all-around human so I feel so grateful for that. He’s inspired me so much. He’s changed my life.”
