Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani staged another press conference after losing in a courtroom in Pennsylvania.
Staging a press conference at Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington DC, Giuliani recited a scene from the 1992 comedy film My Cousin Vinny.
“Did you all watch My Cousin Vinny? You know the movie? It’s one of my favorite law movies, because he comes from Brooklyn,” the attorney said and he summed up a key plot point from the film.
“And when the nice lady said she saw … And then he says to her, ‘How many fingers do I… How many fingers do I got up? And she says three. Oh, she was too far away to see it was only two.”
The 76-year-old added: “These people (the poll observers) were further away than My Cousin Vinny was from the witness. They couldn’t see a thing.”
However, things got stickier when two streaks of what seemed to be dark hair dye streamed down Giuliani’s face.
He said that the race was “not a victory. It’s a fraud.”
The movie’s director Jonathan Lynn chuckled at the moment.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said: “I regard Giuliani’s praise of My Cousin Vinny as generous from the man who is currently giving the Comedy Performance of the Year.”
“What I’m describing for you is a massive fraud. It isn’t a little teeny one,” Giuliani said. “The president way ahead on election night.”
An audio feed from the conference included people asking “Rudy’s hair dye dripping down his face” and “Can they hear us on the stream?” The feed was later taken down.
“I don’t know what you need to wake you up, to do your job and inform the American people, whether you like it or not, of the things they need to know!” he continued.
“This is real! It’s not made up! There’s nobody here who engages in fantasies.”
