A hairdresser who decided to keep working through the coronavirus outbreak has gone viral on social media after she used an umbrella to maintain social distance with her clients.
The Dutch hairstylist is an employee of Bella Rosa salon in the city of Oss, just north of Eindhoven.
She came up with a truly innovative design to shield herself from the lethal virus, by poking holes for her arms and eyes in an umbrella.
This might look a bit, or a lot, weird but can be a good way to keep away from COVID-19.
Using the holes to extend her arms to the client, the hairdresser uses latex gloves to further avoid contacting the clients.
To see clearly what she is cutting, this genius lady made holes for her eyes in the umbrella to see through.
Countries throughout Europe have shut down the hair and beauty salons due to the rising fears of COVID-19 which suggests the video of this hairstylist might be an old one.
The clip has got a lot of attention from people especially on Facebook where it has been shared for more than 82,000 times.
The hairdresser captioned one of the clips: “This is not going well.”
To thread one customer’s eyebrows, the clever hair artist poked the third hole to hold the thread in her mouth during the procedure.
There have been two videos of the scene so far and both have got massive social media responses.
Many people found the whole thing funny, with one person saying: “You’re crazy.” Another person, going by the name De Roy van Zuydewijn, commented: “Bunch of Lunatics.”
There were other people too in the support of the act.
A social media user named Serda Cevher Tegmen appreciated the act, saying: “You have an invention for everything, right. Superwoman.”
Karin Tielemans, another social media user and probably a customer of the hair designer, said: “Haha, good idea.”
This is not the first time someone has come up with a hilariously innovative way of defense against the deadly outbreak.
Commuters in London are using plastic bags, containers, gas masks, and even ski goggles to prevent getting the disease.
Seems like the pandemic has ignited creativity in people around the world.
