Cassandra Hall who lives in Victoria, Australia, was surfing through her Instagram one day when she noticed an advertisement post from a breeder.
The breeder was selling rabbits, sweet and adorable rabbits with beautiful white fur of coat on their body. But there was something written under the post that caught her eyes.
The statement read that the hairless rabbit is not for sale. She wanted to learn more about the hairless rabbit so she contacted the breeder. She asked him to send her more pictures of the hairless rabbit and he did.
The breeder then told her that no one buys the hairless rabbit so if she wants this one, it is for free. He wanted someone to take the rabbit because he had to put the last hairless rabbit to sleep.
The next day Cassandra went to see the rabbit and could not come back home alone. She came back with the little man and introduced him to his new family.
She and her family all loved him. Taking his appearance into consideration that reminded them of the cat in Austin Powers movies that was hairless too, they named the new boy after the cat. They called the rabbit Mr. Bigglesworth.
The family already had a rabbit and an Instagram account for their rabbit. When they were not sure not to take care of Mr. Bigglesworth, she decided to post his pictures.
She posted his pictures on her other rabbit’s account to ask other rabbit owners about the condition.
Soon the media noticed and started writing about the young boy and she received a lot of help from several other rabbit owners whose rabbits were having the same condition.
Now she is able to take care of her baby in the right way without the fear that he might be sick or she might be taking care of him in the wrong way.
