One couple took their love for Halloween to the next level by holding an epic monster-themed wedding.
The couple, Jeff Peabody, 39, and Alexis, 36, dressed up as Frankenstein and his bride. They exchanged vows in front of 180 guests who were also in costume.
A professional costume make-up artist got Jeff and Alexis up to spec on the authentic horror look and worked on their friends and family as well to get the perfect horror-themed wedding.

Even the setting was set up so that they could have a ghoulish graveyard backdrop, with makeshift graves where skeletons popped up and a seating chart made to look like a cemetery layout.
For the bathrooms, the male toilets were labeled “zomboys” while the female toilets were called “ghouls.” The guests were given “potion” bottles to drink with the wedding breakfast being called a “boo-ffet” that came with “gorederves” and “vampitizers.”
The pair were introduced by mutual friends in 2010 and their first date involved watching the horror movie Halloween. It took them no time to realize that they both loved the spooky holiday, saying it is “much better than Christmas.”
This is why every year, they spare no effort in making Halloween as memorable as possible.
Given their love for Halloween, they wanted to get married in October. As it turned out, there was a Friday the 13th when they got married in October 2017 and that made them decide to go with a Halloween-themed wedding.
“Friday 13th is an iconic horror movie, one of our favorites,” Jeff said.
“We hadn’t planned to have a Halloween themed wedding, but this felt like a sign – and we’d always wanted to throw a huge Halloween party so we thought why not tie the two together.
“We both love Halloween, so when we saw there was a Friday the 13th in October, we knew it was a no-brainer and had to have a Halloween-themed wedding!”
The unique theme had friends and family saying that the event was the “best wedding they’d ever been to.”
Jeff, a print production manager, from Detroit, Michigan, US, said: “Despite my wife being dressed as a monster, I’ve never seen her looking more beautiful!
“It was the perfect day.”
Alexis, a cleaner, added: “We’ve learned from being together that we love Halloween a lot more than most people.
“For one night of the year, you can be whoever you want to be and just have fun – what’s not to like!”
