Service dogs learn to help people with disabilities, such as those who are blind, allowing them to enter public places such as markets, buses and trains.
Police dogs are trained to protect agents, sniff objects to search for people, chase and detain bad guys, and rescue and save people.
There are also detection dogs as some breeds are better than others when it comes to sniffing and identifying explosives, drugs, cadavers, blood sugar levels, cancer, and more.
Zootherapy dogs are increasingly present in healthcare centers and hospitals. These dogs train to be with patients suffering from diseases and other medical conditions.
