Prince Harry Lands In The UK As He Prepares For Awkward Reunion With Brother Prince William For The Unveiling Of Princess Diana’s Statue


Prince Harry has arrived at Frogmore Cottage after flying to the UK for the unveiling of the statue of his late mother Princess Diana.

He will spend five days in self-isolation at his former Windsor home before the event on Thursday.

Frogmore Cottage was initially gifted to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex by the Queen after the couple tied the knot. However, they gave up the property after stepping down from their royal duties.

The keys were later given to Princess Eugenie, who is now living there with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their child.

Harry, 36, is expected to self-isolate at Frogmore Cottage before he and his brother Prince William, 39, reunite at Kensington Palace on July 1.

This visit comes more than two months after Harry flew back home to attend the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip.

His wife, Meghan, just gave birth to their second child – a daughter named Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana – at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital on June 4. She has remained at their mansion in Montecito with her newborn and 2-year-old son Archie.

Confirming details about the event following the duke’s arrival, a spokesperson for Kensington Palace said: “Prince William and Prince Harry will attend a small event to mark the unveiling of a statue they commissioned of their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace on Thursday, July 1.

“In addition to close family of Diana, Princess of Wales, members of the statue committee, the sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley, and garden designer, Pip Morrison, will also be present.

“Further details about the statue and garden will be provided on July 1.”

Harry’s appearance alongside his brother for the unveiling of Diana’s statue will be watched closely by fans and royal commentators.
