Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Instagram page shared a video of singer Ed Sheeran visiting the Royal for their new collaboration in honor of World Mental Health Awareness Day.
The clip shows Sheeran rings the doorbell which plays the melody of “God Save the Queen!”), then Prince Harry cheerfully greets his guest with a “Hi, mate.”
Harry shakes hands with the singer and jokingly says “It’s like looking in the mirror.”
“Do you mind if I bring the cameras in?” Sheeran asks, to which Harry replies: “Of course, yeah, come on in guys.”
Then a message pop-ups on the screen: “Coming soon… 10 October #WMHD.”
Another video was shared on Harry and Meghan’s Instagram account after the short teaser clip released.
“I’m really excited today,” Sheeran says to the camera while a makeup artist shaves his beard in the starting of the video.
“I’m going to go and film a thing with Prince Harry. He contacted me about doing a charity video with him which you know is going to be good because I’ve long admired him from afar.”
The next shot shows Prince Harry welcomes Sheeran into his home and they start discussing the project.
Harry explains that this topic is “not talked about enough” and that “people all over the world are really suffering.”
“That’s exactly what I’m trying to do,” Sheeran replies. “People just don’t understand what it’s like for people like us.”
Harry looks confused and asks Sheeran what does he mean.
“Well you know, with the jokes and the snide comments,” the singer replies. “I just feel like it’s time we stood up and said we’re not going to take this anymore. We are ginger and we’re gonna fight.”
Harry has been a sincere advocate for various mental health campaigns and he says, “There might’ve been a miscommunication, but this is about World Mental Health Day.”
The clip ends with the two talking sincerely to the camera about World Mental Health day.
Prince Harry urges viewers to take care of one another, saying: “Guys, this World Mental Health Day, reach out, make sure your friends, strangers, look out for anybody that might be suffering in silence. We’re all in this together.”
