Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have overtaken other senior members of the royal family as they became the most respected royals after the Queen.
In a survey by mental health charity Stem4, the Duchess of Sussex came in third place just behind her husband, with both of them beaten by the Queen, who won first place.
The survey asked 1,000 young adults and teens who they found most popular and respected in different categories.
Her Majesty won the top spot, with 25 percent of the vote. Harry came second at 22 percent and Meghan followed at 21 percent.
Prince William won 10 percent of the vote while his wife Kate Middleton won 11 percent.
In another category looking at inspiring people, David Attenborough was ranked the most popular.
The results for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex come despite the couple making headlines with their bombshell interviews about the Firm.
Dr. Nihara Krause, Stem4’s founder and chief executive, was quoted saying: “To earn the respect of young people today you don’t need to earn a fortune or have good looks.
“It’s far more important that you show bravery, resilience, and compassion for others and for nature.
“Those are certainly qualities the Queen shares with some of the other names on this list such as David Attenborough and Marcus Rashford.”
Stem4’s survey comes as tensions have increased among the Sussexes and other Royal Family members ever since the Duke and Duchess stepped down from their royal duties last year.
Earlier this year, the couple accused a senior royal of racism, claiming concerns had been raised about how dark their son’s skin tone would be.
They also claimed that Meghan was not given mental health support when she was having suicidal thoughts during her stay at the palace.
