We all have grown up watching the Harry Potter series and deep inside we thought to stay in Hagrid’s Hut.
It seems this dream of ours is going to come true because over Christmas from Dec. 22-29, you can head to North York Moors National Park to the replica of Hagrid’s Hut and stay for a week.
All thanks to JK Rowling’s Lumos charity, the hut could be yours for a week during the Christmas period.
All you have to do is enter a prize draw, and along with up to five friends could be in with the chance to win a magical festive holiday.
According to Stylist.co.uk: ”If the cozy, mystical accommodation isn’t enough, the first prize in the competition also includes a unique immersive Harry Potter experience. You will have the opportunity to meet a Snowy Owl, encounter a magic-wielding Harry Potter lookalike over afternoon tea, and even take a ride on a steam train from nearby Goathland – which is, as all fans will no doubt be aware, the very same station used as Hogsmeade in the films.”
Hagrid’s Hut has the rustic interior, turreted roof, and the stained glass windows and there is a copper roll-top bath, an open fireplace, and some comfy sofas.
Carol Cavendish, the owner of Groundkeeper’s Cottage said: ”Since launching the Groundkeeper’s Cottage this spring we’ve had a phenomenal response from people wanting to rent it so we thought it was a good time to help make some.”
”The stay is just part of a $6,000 grand prize, with the competition fees raising money for Lumos, J.K. Rowling’s charity to help disadvantaged orphanage children. It will make Christmas extra special while also raising vital funds for a charity that is close to my heart.”
