Prince Harry is heartbroken as he cannot repair his relationship with his brother Prince William before their reunion, a royal expert claims.
Ingrid Seward says the feuding brothers will not have enough time to heal their rift before they meet to unveil the statue of their late mother Princess Diana.
The Duke of Cambridge, 38, and the Duke of Sussex, 36, will unveil the exhibit they have been designing and working on for four years.
Harry has confirmed to aides that he will go to the ceremony this July.
According to reports, a plinth for the late Princess of Wales’ statue has been laid in the Sunken Garden of the palace, her favorite spot on the grounds.
Speaking to Express, royal author Seward said: “I am sure Harry will be there and put on a good show with William.
“You can’t repair a relationship overnight so whether they try or not remains to be seen.”
The ceremony for Princess Diana will take place on July 1 on what would’ve been her 60th birthday.
An insider previously said: “Harry has said he will do his utmost to be there. He wants to put on a united front with William and pay an appropriate tribute to their mother.”
This week, Roya Nikkhah, royal editor of the Sunday Times, said: “Both William and Harry know this moment is a huge global moment, and that moment has to be about their mother’s memory.
“So, in the same way they did for the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, I’m absolutely certain they will put any personal differences aside for that day to make sure that it goes off well and they honour their mother in the way that they wanted to with that statue.
“So I don’t think we should expect to see any froideur or distance there.”
