But the Houston police chief was also put in the line of fire by plenty of media reporters who questioned the police’s lack of timely response and poor management where crowds could be seen getting out of control with no one to stop them.

Similarly, many were also concerned about the recent viral footage that showed so many police officers taking out their cell phones to record star rapper Travis Scott during his performance, despite the incident being declared as a mass casualty event.

The chief responded by adding how those reports were currently under investigation and hence refused to answer any questions relating to them.

Finner stated that he did not have any close relationship with Travis Scott and had only met him twice. “Whether or not the show went on had nothing to do with the police. It was not under our control,” he reiterated.

Shocking reports state that the police chief walked back on his claims that there was a security guard present who was pricked in the neck region and injected with some illegal substance as he tried to restrain someone.

With many confusing statements and rumors in the air, many are baffled as to what really went on that day.
