Many slammed the current working laws in the US, adding how the video was a true representation of what really goes on across the country.

The video features Marissa Peirce who gave birth to a son named Charles in July while she was working at a drive-thru coffee shop.

After arriving at the hospital because of her labor pains, her husband was quick to document her entire labor process, including how his wife lay in bed with her cellphone close by. She can be seen reading a text message that she was just about to send to her boss.

Little did her husband know that the video would become an instant internet sensation, while she was in active labor.

That reportedly left many to criticize how so many mothers have to endure so many hardships while working at their jobs in the USA.

While the video was posted in August with the caption, “Me overthinking in labor about the text that I’m sending my manager to call out”- it has now become such a viral share across the globe.

In addition to that, the mother can be seen talking about how stressful labor is but even more than that is calling out your boss and explaining the entire situation simultaneously.

But what exactly did the message state is a question on so many people’s minds.

Marissa reads, “I am in labor, I just got admitted to the hospital… smiley face… would it be okay if my brother or my mother picked up my paycheck tomorrow,” it went on to state.

And that’s when the new mom turns to her boyfriend and asks him if it sounded great with him nodding with a smile.
