While the terms women and beard don’t usually go hand in hand, one female is going against the norms and embracing her facial hair like never before seen.

A woman has reportedly stopped shaving the hair on her face, allowing it to grow to extreme lengths. And as you can probably expect, it became so long to be referred to as a proper beard.

Posting the shocking video on her TikTok account recently, the woman spoke about how she has a certain medical condition called polycystic ovary syndrome and that means her facial hair is more than usual in females.

Proudly showing off her full-length beard, the woman says she’s slowly but surely accepting the change and hopes society begins to normalize it too.

“I’ve got a hormonal problem and that means my facial hair is more than others,” the woman who goes by the name ‘Peekaboo Pumpkin’ revealed.

Polycystic ovary disease causes excess hair to grow around the chin area, making it appear that females have beards like men.

Over the years, the young woman says that she’s gotten plenty of treatments done, not to mention countless days of shaving too. But no more, because she’s shunning those razors and going for a natural hairy look.

“Laser hair removal did not work for me and it really took me a long time to be at a place where the hair on my face just wouldn’t bother me,” she added.

In another viral video, Peekaboo Pumpkin spoke about how she went about cutting her beard and the news fascinated so many people as it just wasn’t something that they were accustomed to seeing.

The young woman says that she’s learned to fall in love with her beard and that means taking care of it more than usual.

From braiding and massaging to using straighteners for that extra shimmer and shine, she’s doing it all!
