A heartbroken mother has shared a picture of her 5 years old daughter comforting her 4 years old brother who is fighting for his life against leukemia.
Beckett Burge is a 4 years old little boy who is living the worst days of his life but is fortunate enough to have a loving elder sister by his side.
Beckett was diagnosed with leukemia first when he was just 2 years old back in 2018, now the boy has turned 4 but his battle has not turned in his victory yet even after 2 years of chemotherapy.
Kaitlin Burge, Beckett’s mother recently shared a picture from January where it can be seen how Aubrey, Beckett’s sister kept holding and comforting him as the boy stood in front of the toilet while he felt sick after his chemo session, rubbing his back to reassure him that everything will be alright.
Although Aubrey is just 14 months older then her younger brother who is fighting for his life, she made sure he washed his hands before going out of the washroom. She then even cleaned up the washroom a little to help her mother and her father Matthew Burge.
Kaitlin says that her little girl is so attached to her brother that rather than going out to play with her mates she prefers to stay home to spend time with her brother and keep a close eye at him.
Kaitlin says that she is very happy to see her children having such a great bond but this also breaks her heart that her poor kids have to go through so much at such a young age when all they deserve is careless happiness.
Kaitlin released the pictures of all that her son is going through to explain how a family is the only strength of a person at the time of crisis.
