A mother who lives in Washington was left completely heartbroken after the urn where she had stored her dead son’s ashes was stolen.
Losing a child is never easy, but what is even more heartbreaking is being robbed of the only memory of the child too. It can never be easy and Melissa Carter is going through exactly the same right now.
Melissa Carter had lost her son when she was 6 months pregnant with him. She explained how a burglary happened in her house and the thief who probably did not realize it was an urn stole the ashes of her son too.
Melissa said that she returned home one day only to find all the doors in her house wide open. The living room was a mess but nothing was missing.
She moved forward and saw her other son’s room’s door completely smashed and the window open and she quickly realized that there has been a burglary.
She searched to find what has been stolen and then realized that along with her jewelry the urn has been gone too which was kept along with the jewelry.
The woman has been left in pieces; she is too broken and is seeking help.
She posted on her Facebook “Someone broke into my house and stole the urn that had my son’s ashes along with the jewelry.
I don’t care about the jewelry but please return me the urn in any way you can. It is precious to me and I am devastated here. Please send it back and it would mean the world to me.”
The helpless mother was keeping the only memory of her son safe for the rest of her life but someone did not let this happen.
