We have all watched Batman and Joker, despite being the villain, the character took our heart away and we cannot move on from that and by we, I refer to each and every one of us that have watched the movie and holds the same feeling for Joker as we have stated here.
Well, it looks like our love for joker is not overrated because the scene was voted as the most iconic scene in the last 21 years.
It was Rotten Tomatoes’ 21st birth anniversary so they decided to take the vote for the best movie scene in the last 21 years and guess what which scene came out. Yes, you guessed it right; it was the one where Heath Ledger plays Joker.
The scene was from The Dark Knight and the majority of the people voted for the scene to keep it in the first position.
Now, only the ones of you who have the keenest eyes will know that it was not just a scene but a performance Heath Ledger gave.
Yes, it was a performance but to justify it Rotten Tomatoes said that there was no part of his performance that can be left out. It was his entire performance that was the best.
To notice, The Dark Knight was the movie that gave Heath Ledger the chance to be a part of the franchise and also the opportunity to give the best performance of his entire life and career on screen before he died unexpectedly.
The result of the poll said that the role Heath Ledger played will remain as the benchmark for the highest performance as no one has been able to cross it in last 21 years and we can only hope for some other actor and another character to come out with the same level of brilliance.
