A mother of seven children is pleading with others for help because she feels they can no longer survive in a small two-bedroom home.
Jolene Alsopp who is a mother to seven kids and hails from North Belfast is literally begging and pleading with higher authorities to take a look at her case because she feels it’s high time they do so.
“It’s been months and I’ve been pleading for so long. We need to get re-homed as soon as possible, just look at the dire state of our residence,” she revealed.
The mother says that she and her family were forced to move into this tiny home, and hence it’s certainly not a decision that they welcome with open arms.
“We are now at a breaking point and begging is our last hope,” the mother cried.
Jolene’s children range from the ages of 13 to seven months and they are now all living together at her nephew’s home in a tower block. A total of nine people are forced to cram into that tiny space, which is a small flat with only two bedrooms.
After her case received some acknowledgment online, the Housing Executive from Northern Ireland says they are working hard at trying to find a long-term solution for the family’s betterment. But the waiting game is not only hard, it’s soon turning to be an absolute nightmare with such little kids involved.
The 33-year-old mother claims she’s devastated beyond words can reveal. And she’s asked so many officials for their assistance and time to look into her matter but little to anyone appears to be interested.
“I am in this sticky mess due to some personal issues. I literally had a breakdown after my child’s birth. I am going through some personal issues and living here is only making things worse,” she revealed.
“It’s like a living hell and I really need someone to take our matter up before it’s too late,” she added in a helpless tone.
