Chris Hemsworth has admitted that he would love to partner up with actors Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans for the remake of Three Amigos, a classic American Western comedy.
The movie from 1986 was well-accepted across the nation and featured three friends who got mistaken for heroes upon their visit to a Mexican village.
While the original characters were portrayed by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Chevy Chase, Hemsworth recently revealed he would have no problems teaming up with his Avengers co-stars for a remake.
“Absolutely. I would love to,” he said during ACE Comic-Con Midwest.
“That was so sad about kind of finishing Endgame, was just, ‘were we ever going to get to hang out again?’ And I immediately started thinking, ‘what else could we do?’
“And I’d love to. We could remake the Three Amigos or something.”
While it’s been well over three decades since the original aired, director John Landis is still actively making films, meaning that he could be interested in the remake of the classic as well.
Meanwhile, Taron Egerton has spoken out as well to tease the fans by claiming that Kingsman 3 script already exists.
“I’m really not allowed to say anything, but there is a script,” he said during a panel discussion. “It’s a really neat idea. That plan, at the moment, is that we’d like to do another one, one more time.”
Speaking of his role as Eggsy, Taron went on to say that he wanted to finish it in style because he’s always loved playing the character.
“It was the role that kind of started my film career so I’m always going to feel, you know, a great fondness for the part,” he added.
“I would like to do one more because frankly, I’d like to say goodbye to him [Eggsy] in a befitting way and to finish the trilogy. All good things come to an end. It was always imagined as a trilogy and I think it’d be great to finish the story off because I’ve loved playing the character.”
