We make sure our makeup brushes are clean because we would never want grime to reach our faces.
But have you ever paid enough attention to your hairbrush and tried to clean it?
Most of you will say NO to it. Well, you should take up your hairbrush and clean it at least once a month. And if you still say no, you should know that there is a lot of nasty stuff living there that can easily go to your head.
Mrs. Hinch, the cleaning guru has explained how it is important to clean your brush and the procedure of doing it. She has explained every step of the procedure and you will be shocked to see the result.
She first took out all the hair from her brush then used a comb to take through it to make sure all the hair are out.
Now fill up a pot or the sink with some hot water and drop your brush in it. Let it sit there and soak for some time.
She then adds a tablespoon of washing liquid and an equal quantity of white vinegar in the water. You have to repeat the same. She says vinegar is used to kill the bacteria and germs that have been living on the brush.
Now leave the brushes in there for an hour or so.
With the action of the washing liquid, the collected dirt will start losing up and the color of the water will start changing too.
In some time, all the dirt will come off and some of it will start floating on the top of water too.
In the end, take the brush out and run it under fresh and clean water. It will get cleaned thoroughly. And it will be set to be used back again.
