A 3-year-old boy was dubbed a hero after driving his toy car to a busy road in order to get help for his father who suffered a seizure.
Little Stefan Snowden took a quarter-mile ride on his Paw Patrol until he came upon his daddy’s rescuers and told them that his father was in trouble.
Since Stefan’s family lives in a secluded home, the young boy rode his toy car all the way to the main road in order to get help for his dad who became unresponsive.
While some shocked commuters drove right past the boy, one anonymous woman, fortunately, stopped the traffic and called the police.
“The little boy was just trundling along the main road towards Bourne. There were three or four cars behind him, but he was so low that another impatient motorist overtook the line of traffic,” one witness explained.
“Then a woman stopped her van and parked it across the road to rescue him. She was very brave.”
After the incident, the police said Stefan was very brave whereas they also praised the woman who stopped the traffic and prevented the child from getting hurt.
As Stefan’s mother, 25-year-old Carla Neve, explained, she was just out of the house for a few minutes at the time of the incident.
“Marc suffers from epilepsy and they have changed his medication. He was on the sofa and loses consciousness when he has a seizure,” she said.
“Stefan knows how to get out of the front door and must have gone to get his truck. He loves his little Paw Patrol truck. Stefan was definitely going for help.
“We live on a very quiet lane, and he uses his feet to push it along. It is quite a distance to the end of the lane where it meets the main road. When we spoke to the police Stefan said ‘Daddy was poorly.’ We are so proud of him and grateful to the two ladies.”
