A group of women spotted a man wearing nothing but work boots and pink G-string hiking on a popular trailing track.
The group is a frequent visitor to the Wild Horse Mountain track in the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. They were quite taken aback when they saw the man running in such an unusual garb.
One of the women mentioned that he repeatedly said sorry as he went past the group, while other witnesses claimed that the man was doing this as he had lost a bet.
A woman from the group, Maree Price, said that the incident was really bizarre and in poor taste.
She said that the man had his clothes in hand while he wore nothing but work boots and G-string. The sight has made her uncomfortable in going on that track alone again.
It is important to mention in this regard that this is not the only instance of the man being spotted by the runners.
The group said that when they were going up for the third time, the man came down from the opposite side in that same attire, said sorry to the group, and tried to cover his butt while passing by them.
When the group was coming down, they met a young girl and enquired if she has had a similar encounter. To this, the girl denied seeing anyone today but mentioned that she had seen the same thing a month ago and the man apparently had lost a bet.
A police officer said in this regard that the case would be investigated if more reports about it came through. Maree Price had reported the incident to the police, but they told her what the man did was not in violation of the law.
