In one story, a woman told that she hasn’t spent this much time at home with her husband in five years.
She said she is pretending that all of his farts are just her phone vibrating because that’s the only thing holding them together.
Another woman told that her boyfriend has turned her into her nagging mother.
The story read: “’Jonathan, why are there crumbs on the counter? ‘Jonathan, why are all the cabinets open? ‘Jonathan why are your clothes on the floor? ‘Jonathan, turn the lights off, it’s daytime’.”
While a third woman told that her boyfriend became very angry when she took a sip of his water and they got into a huge fight.
The boyfriend ended up sleeping outside in his car as a punishment by his girlfriend.
When Meg was asked about the inspiration behind ‘The Social Distance Project’, she said: “I’m not writing a story, I’m just messy and love drama.
The tweet that ended up going viral and kind of kicking this whole thing off was really made as an off-handed joke.
”She said she didn’t expect people would take this seriously and send their stories.
Meg is now using the project to raise funds so she can help people amid the coronavirus crisis.
She has already received $3,000 to $4,000 dollars in donations.
