In order to foster encouraging relations with the local communities, the police departments all around the United States have been trying to do good this summer by having some fun.
It all started when the Corinth Police Department’s hilarious lip-sync version of the ‘Party in the USA’ went viral which was flawlessly choreographed and performed in a single take.
One of the officers who previously worked for the Norfolk Police Department challenged his colleagues to make an awesome video of their own.
Weeks later, the Norfolk PD responded to the challenge with their own inspirational performance and challenged other police departments in the United States to respond in kind.
Virginia Beach Police Department was among the first ones who took the challenge seriously. They shot an epic video and uploaded it to the department’s official Facebook page.
What made the headlines was that the video didn’t involve just one song but an entire slew of tunes accompanied by a group of beachgoers to the boot.
The video shows the police officers singing songs of each generation and genre doing a perfectly choreographed dance together. They were joined by plenty of beachgoers.
Unlike other videos that were shot on the iPhone, this video took three days to put together as it used crews and drones to capture the footage.
