What is the worst thing that can happen to a couple that has decided to get married and are just so much in love? Well, this couple knows what the worst thing was as it happened to them.
Just a few months from the wedding, the groom ended up in the ICU, not even being able to move his head.
Lisa’s life came crashing down one day when she received a call about the news that her fiance Brian Worster has been in a terrible accident on the road. She couldn’t do anything except for sit in her place and wait to arrive at the hospital.
It was a usual day for both of them. Lisa was waiting at home and Brian was driving his truck as he was coming back home to her. He was on his way when the most terrible thing happened. He had an accident and it was a major one. The accident was so brutal that his head was crushed. He was instantly taken to the hospital. Lisa had no idea what had happened. She was waiting at their home when she received the call and then nothing appeared clear to her.
She says she only remembers sitting in the car and going to the hospital but from her home to the hospital, everything is just so blurry to her.
She sat in the car and a friend drove her because she was just not able to drive.
She reached the hospital and was left shocked when she played her eyes on her beloved. Brian was there right in front of her eyes. He had no clue if she was there. His skull was crushed so bad that there were chances that he could not make it out.He was then taken to the ICU where doctors performed surgery on his head.
He was then left to rest. It took him days to come to his conscious. He came back to his conscious but he could not move at all.
He was not even able to lift his head up but he wanted to talk about something so he asked for pen and paper. He could move his hand a little and so he decided to write. The first thing he wrote was “Was it my fault?” He asked Lisa and she couldn’t say anything because she had no idea what happened. Later they came to know that it was not his fault. The next thing he wrote left her in tears. He wrote “I Love You” on the paper and Lisa ran out of the room.
It took him a month inside the ICU, and he stayed in the hospital for another 2 months as he was attending rehab. Finally, after so long, he was allowed to go home but it is still going to take a lot of time for him till he can be on his own.
