Remember watching Home Alone when we were kids and hoping that someday when an intruder will come into our house, we will beat them the same way Kevin did.
Of course, the kid had the immense capability of trapping and punishing those thieves who were trying to invade his house.
He was our hero. The movie series has been a huge part of the childhood of all the 90’s kids and it looks like the millennial are going to get a treat of it too.
No, it is not just us assuming that a new part of the movie may come out but movie giant Disney confirmed the news that they are reimagining Home Alone.
The first part of the series, Home Alone came out back in 1990, yes it has been 30 long years since the series was first premiered. 3 years later in the year 1992 the second part of the film, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, came out. Then the third part of the films and the end part of the trilogy came out in 1997.
After that franchise produced two more projects and the last one aired in 2012.
Now the franchise is coming up with their 6th part as per the news. Well, the last part will be available on Disney’s new streaming service that is going to be launched soon. Surely, it is going to be a huge competition for Netflix that is already facing trouble for existence.
Home Alone is not the only film being reimagined as a part of the streaming service but CEO Bob Iger revealed that they are also going to reimaging Cheaper By The Dozen and Night At The Museum.
This is happy news and we don’t know about you but we are too excited to revisit our childhood excitement again.
