Meeting a lifelong friend is everyone’s wish.
Sometimes, people are lucky enough to meet a friend who will last forever when they are in elementary school and some people meet their best friend at college.
I met my best friend at high school. She was my roommate for one semester at high school and for four years at college.
I was lucky enough to live with my best friend for four and a half years and stay few more years in the same city. Staying close with my best friend has been a big help in my life.

Cameron High is a quarterback at Jacksonville High School. He won homecoming king last year and he knew exactly what he wanted to do with the crown.
One of the nominees, Darius Holman, who has autism, was Cameron’s lifelong friend. They have been friends since they were in kindergarten.
As a lifelong friend, Cameron wanted to do something for Darius. Cameron has gone through a hard time and always thought about others before himself.
Therefore, as soon as he got the homecoming crown on his head, Cameron took it off and went over to Darius.
He handed his crown and his homecoming king title to Darius.
The happy smile appeared on the faces of both of them.

Darius was so excited to be the homecoming king but he was even happier to be given the title by his best friend.
Based on the personality he has, people said that it is not at all surprise for him to give his homecoming king crown to Darius.
He says in the video below, “There’s a lot of selfish people out there. The world is just very tangled right now, but I hope and pray that God changes it.”
As the homecoming king is a hard title to get, what Cameron did was a very generous thing to do for his friend.
