The Hong Kong Protestors Go Wild While The Citywide Strike Was Going On


There was a citywide strive in Hong Kong on 5th august 2019, and since then the protectors are going wild by breaking things around the city.

The clashes and anti-government protests have wrecked the town, and the protestors started growing violent during the rally.

The footage of two different areas, which are North Point and Wong Tai Sin shows how the group of demonstrators was attacking things around them.

The protestors are seen throwing project tiles around, breaking the gates of service quarters, and ignoring the tear gas while the residents of the areas are seen throwing plastic bottles at the protestors and throwing water bombs around.

People smashed the windows of the vehicles which crossed the protestors’ roadblock.

Aaron McNicholas is the reporter who filmed the video and posted it online said that people lost their cool when they saw other driving through the protestors’ roadblock.

They punched the drivers and smashed their car windows. Though the drivers did go through the barrier, but they did not intend to harm anyone. The crowd was going crazy for some reason and created a lot of chaos.

At the North Point area, there were two groups of people, one was of protestors, and the other was of the residents. There were some reports of the protestors being attacked by some group as they were surrounding the building.

When things were going extremely out of control, police kept arresting the people, and they arrested around 82 people from the strike.

Carrie Lam, who is the Chief Executive, said that such protests are illegal acts towards destroying the prosperity and stability of the city. The strike was because of some clashes with the local authorities in Hong Kong, and it made these people go wild.
