The star who was reckoned for her role as Pussy Galore in James Bond classic Goldfinger (1964) has passed away from natural cause.
Her family paid tribute to the beloved mother and grandmother, who was also seen in the Avengers as Cathy Gale.
The family confirmed that she died peacefully in Lewes, Sussex, in her home from natural causes surrounded by her loved ones.
The emotional statement from the family read that she was so much loved and will be missed greatly by her two children Lottie and Barnaby, along with grandchildren Oscar, Daisy, Toby, and Olive.
Along with being a great mother and grandmother, Honor was also a legendary actor who imbibed prolific creative talent. She was a perfect combination of beauty, brains, and physical prowess.
Owing to her distinctive voice and dedication towards her work, Honor has accomplished an unparalleled iconic status in the global film industry.
For years, she has entertained us all with a commitment to her craft and utmost professionalism in all her projects. Furthermore, over the course of a career, she has contributed to the film industry with some great theatre productions and films.
The honor was born in Plaistow, located in East London in the year 1925 to a civil service statistician dad. She started acting lessons at the age of 15, which was her parent’s gift to her.
She trained at the Guildhall School of Musci and Drama in 1940. Additionally, during the Second World War, she emerged as a motorcycle dispatch rider for the Home Office.
Honor landed her first acting role seven years later in a play titled “The Blind Goddess” at the Apollo Theatre. After multiple small roles, she landed her first big project as Cathy Gale in The Avenger, where she became famous as the first female partner of John Steed.
