It’s as if one of those crime scenes from FX or FOX investigative series have come to life: a horrific crime scene where a bright young capitalist is brutally murdered to everyone’s amaze and mystery.
Except that this case is a horrendous real one, and that the casualty was a young man with only a bright future ahead of him.The 33-year-old entrepreneur Fahim Saleh has been found in his luxury New York condominium, with his limbs and head completely dismembered.
The police are investigating the site located in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The casualty was the head CEO of Gokada, a company based in Nigeria where it ran a Uber-like system of motorcycles within the country.His last sighting was at Monday evening, where he got into the elevator in the same building that he was found in.
According to the police reports and announcements, a man dressed all in black was caught in the footage entering the same elevator with Saleh.
According to reliable sources, it is believed that the attack commenced soon after Saleh and the murderer landed on their destination.He was discovered by his sister, who uncovered his severed torso, with the remaining parts all rounded up in individual bags all across the apartment.
The motive and the identity of the assailant remains to be defined, according to NYPD.Saleh’s family confirmed his death in a statement.
“The headlines talk about a crime we still cannot fathom,” the statement said. “Fahim is more than what you are reading. He is so much more. His brilliant and innovative mind took everyone who was a part of his world on a journey and he made sure never to leave anyone behind.
There are no words or actions to provide any of us comfort except the capture of the person who exhibited nothing short of evil upon our loved one.
We need and urge the NYPD and other members of law enforcement to work diligently to get to the bottom of this horrific crime and bring justice for Fahim,” his family statement reads.Gokada called Saleh’s death “sudden and tragic” on Twitter.
“Fahim was a great leader, inspiration and positive light for all of us,” the company wrote.“Our hearts go out to his friends, family and all those feeling the pain and heartbreak we are currently experiencing, here at Gokada.
