People confused a horse with a giraffe at an English national park, thanks to its chestnut brown speckles all over.
It was Trud Surman-Roper who snapped the animal in New Forest while she was walking in the wilderness on 7th August.
The one of its kind horse had brown patches on his skin that duplicated the patterns present on a giraffe. The animal looked extremely gorgeous due to its distinct fur.
Ms. Trudy said that her brain said giraffe but her eyes said horse when she spotted the animal. She called this an amazing encounter and ran after the giraffe-like horse.
After she felt her pulse rate increase due to running, she remembered to take several beautiful shots of the amazing creature. She revealed that it was the first time she was seeing something so unique in the setting.
And it is not just humans who confused the animal with a giraffe, Trudy’s daughter tried to identify with a plant and animal identifier app SEEK, which said it was a giraffe. The uncanny resemblance of this horse confused even the technology.
There are approximately three thousand horses currently in New Forest. The first horse ever recorded in the area in 1016. This implies that the ponies have been roaming in the area since the last ice age’s end.
The New Forest pony is unique and has been eventually refined by bringing in Thoroughbred bloodlines and introducing Arab blood in the mid-nineteenth century.
