Sleep is a luxury that most people miss a lot of nowadays.
It’s an important part of healing the body and de-stressing the mind but many people still discount the miracle that sleep is. It’s something so powerful provided by nature yet is so easy to do.

Part of the reason why sleep cycles are disrupted is because of the way we have structured our lives. Either we work too hard late into the night or we go on a night out during the week because it’s so stressful at work. The rise of streaming services such as Netflix makes it easy to binge-watch TV shows to the point that you don’t notice that it’s already past midnight.
In any case, sometimes sleep is also disrupted because of our partner. Snoring is one of the most common complaints (and it’s usually women complaining about their husbands or boyfriends snoring loud enough to wake the dead) but one other sleep habit is talking in one’s sleep.
Sometimes, just random words come out but there are times that a waking person can even hold whole conversations with someone talking in their sleep!
But these funny sleeping habits are not confined to humans alone.
In this video, we see an adorable female horse lying down on the grass and talking in her sleep. It’s not like she’s making a lot of noise or anything but we can see from the movement of her mouth and her lips that she’s probably dreaming of neighing on a wide-open field. That must have been a sweet dream for a horse, indeed!
Horses an actually sleep standing up without losing their balance thanks to their “passive static apparatus.” However, they will only achieve REM sleep if they lie down. In essence, they only dream when they’re lying down.
Horses only lie down when they feel safe and secure and the fact that the female horse was lying down is evidence that the place where she is staying in is a secure place where she’s treated well.
You could say that it’s a place where sweet dreams are made!
