A homeowner was left gobsmacked after an unknown horse walked into his house and made itself at home after eating his dinner.
The unannounced visit took place in Dunedin, New Zealand, where a friendly horse named Sharq escaped from her owner to go on an adventure of her own.
Eventually, Sharq made it into the home of Doug Renoe who was stunned to see the horse making herself at home and eating his dinner.
“Is anyone in Highcliff area missing a horse” Doug wrote in his Facebook post.
“This one has come inside, eaten half my dinner and also my wife’s carrots from [the] garden. We will keep her for a pet if not claimed. Doug.”
Soon enough, the hilarious post went viral and the horse’s owner was identified as Ben Telfer-Hynes.
“She’s actually an inside horse, so it was no shock to me when I saw she was lurking inside this man’s home. I’m so glad that she was able to find such a lovely place to reside for a short while,” the owner said in an interview with The Dodo.
In another adorable exchange between animals and humans, a pair of curious goats have gone viral after befriending a UPS driver and entering his truck while he was delivering packages to their owners.
The friendly goats were caught on camera by a UPS driver, the father of Maria Helen who shared his story on social media.
As Maria explained, her father had been delivering several packages to a home just days before Christmas when he was greeted by two adorable goats.
“I was delivering several packages to a house and the owners weren’t home so I was hauling them into the garage,” the man said in an interview with The Dodo.
While homeowners may have been away, the cute bodyguards were on-duty and determined to get to know the UPS driver in question.
“I made three trips and each time I came back to the truck, the goats were a little closer. By the final time I came back, one of them was in the back of my truck!” Helen’s dad added.
It took some bonding with the goats, but the deliveryman eventually managed to convince the animals to exit his truck so that he could continue with his deliveries.
