The tales of biscuits and insects acting as lifesavers for men trapped in water, desert, or even rainforests are common, but this time it was the Taco Sauce packets that stole the show!
36-year-old Taylor from Oregon City was trapped in his car along with his dog for nearly five days without anything but taco sauce for food.
On 24 February, Jeremy Taylor decided to hit the sun-clad roads with Ally, his dog. Little did they know that the winters had other plans for them. Their vehicle got stuck somewhere on the US Service Road 40.
Pertaining to the heavy snowfall when they were stuck, Tyler decided to spend the night in the car and look for help in the morning. However, luck had worse planned for them, and there was even more snow around them on Monday.
Still, the duo took up the task of trekking through the dense snow to find help were, sadly, their endeavors showed no results and they were forced to go back into the car.
For almost four and the half days, Taylor and his dog survived through turning on the car to emit heat intermittently. And all they ate was the leftover packets of taco sauce.
Fortunately, after having been trapped for four and a half days, a snowmobile spotted them and helped.
After what can be called a life-threatening adventure, Jeremy and Ally are safe and back home. Jeremy recently posted on Facebook that he and Ally are safe and they got lucky to have been saved.
He also mentioned that the stint of hitting the road when the Oregon snow was at its peak was a silly decision and wrote: “lets never do that again.”
Seventy-five family friends of Taylor’s commented on the post. The commentators were happy that Jeremy and Ally are safe and will be in touch with them soon.
They were concerned, advised him not to do it again, and were also amused by how Taco Bell Sauce saves lives. Well, this is undoubtedly uncommon, and netizens are going gaga about it!
