Amazed by the animal’s stature, the couple decided to stop for a moment to take a photo of the bull only to make it mad enough to break through the fence and escape its enclosure.

Though the couple managed to hide in their car when the bull came charging towards them, nothing stopped the animal from blocking the road and forcing Tina and Ken to reverse and go back where they came from.

“We were on our way back from Stanton Park getting pictures of dragonflies as we’ve started doing wildlife photography. On the way home I saw him [bull] and said how massive he was, so my partner said: ‘Do you want to go get a photo?’” Tina recalled.

“So we reversed back to the field where he was, but just as I took one photo he then went barging towards the fence.

“We heard the fence break so my partner got out and went up to the farmer’s house to get help, but no one was about. So we drove back onto the road – we were face to face with bully!”

Following their ‘escape’, the couple met another person who claimed to know the owner of the bull. After reaching out to the farmer, the man arrived and took the angry bull back home.

“Another driver passed and said he knew the farmer and would go make some calls. So we sat for about 20/30 minutes to wait for the farmer to come rescue us and put him back in the field,” Tina added. “Not something we planned on bumping into.”
